Joel has been a landlord in the Erie area since 1978 and an Apartment Association member since 1981. Having been on the Association’s board since 2009, he is currently the vice president after serving 6 years as president. He actively invests in residential rentals and has been “flipping” single family homes since 1991. Additionally, he enjoys doing private lending (hard money lending) to other real estate investors as well as teaching the Apartment Association’s Landlord 101 class.
